Swissdamed is the Swiss national database for medical devices, operated by Swissmedic — the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products. It is the Swiss equivalent of the EU's EUDAMED database.
Medical device manufacturers, importers and authorised representatives placing devices on the Swiss market are required to register in Swissdamed in accordance with the Swiss Medical Devices Ordinance (MepV / ODim).
Because Switzerland is not an EU member state, Swissdamed is a separate system from EUDAMED — but the datasets overlap significantly. Our service bridges this gap entirely.

Not every product registered in EUDAMED should appear in Swissdamed — some are not available on the Swiss market. We manage exclusion lists to ensure only the correct subset of your EUDAMED products reaches Swissdamed.
Some products are sold exclusively in Switzerland and are not registered in EUDAMED. For these, we manage the direct upload to Swissdamed — handling the full submission process including product data, UDI assignment and Swiss-specific requirements.

Products are made available in Swissdamed via M2M, or packaged and delivered by email to your Swiss Representative for submission. Your Swiss compliance obligation is fulfilled.
